We will also do National Bandanna Day, Remembrance Day.
Newsletter - Sarah, Amiel (and Clare) - Can we produce a Whole School Year Book?
Playground - Jennifer, Breanna, Clare and Alanna - Could we organise a Trash n Treasure Day? Discuss Out of Bounds areas and prepare speech for assembly.

We still have the $500 raised from the 1st term fundraiser and that needs to go towards improving the school. Repainting lines would be great but Angie needs to give us the go ahead to do it ourselves.

Year 6s will begin working on the Graduation and it would be great if a team could put together a school year book for 2012. Something to think about.

Classroom Feedback:
  • 'Share a Book' project finishes this Friday. We have collected over 1500 books and we think that's a great effort from the whole Findon community. Books donated will be passed on to indigenous communities in the Northern Terrritory.
  • Trash and Treasure Day is this Friday. You must buy your table before Friday. Teachers will be given a class list with those who have bought a table highlighted. Selling licences will be given and must be displayed on the table.
  • The stairs to the back car park are out of bounds, please use the grass to walk around to the oval. Behind Silvio's shed is out of bounds. The two kitchen garden areas are also not to be used for playing games.
  • Remember to walk under covered areas and chasey games should not be played on concreted areas.
  • Eat in the court yard at all times and please throw rubbish in bins that are not full.
  • No hats or sunglasses - go to the courtyard area

Questions for your classrooms:
  • Are students in the class cleaning up during clean up time?
  • Are students in the class staying out of the 'out of bounds' areas?
  • Are students eating the courtyard? Not sneaking packaging outside.
  • Are students playing appropriately? - no tackling in footy, no running undercover, doing 3 step telling.
  • What do they think of new seating arrangement at assembly?

Committee Time
  • Environmental Team - RED Project - are we doing this? Recycling Posters, Clean up music? Clean Up incentive cards, Bucket Parade - Prep/Ones, What is our environmental focus this term?
  • Fundraising Team - Share a Book project - Target charts for each class and whole school. National Bandanna Day - make announcement on Thursday at lunch eating time.
  • Playground - Signs for playgrounds, Soccer Field rules, Chess pieces for passive play area. What activities can you run to support students in the playground? Assist with junior house soccer. Trash and Treasure Day!
  • Newsletter - Work on next issue. Look at Year Book options.
